I CHALLENGE YOU (SI) Conclusion – Mariel Bernal

So as some of you have read, for my self-intervention I decided to eat better, sleep more (min 7+ hrs.), and work out like never before. Even though I am posting the outcome a bit short of what I was suppose to, here is my conclusion from these couple of days.

I am not going to lie, it was VERY hard to go to sleep at an earlier time in order for me to get more sleep. I have been use to always playing a little bit of FIFA before going to bed. Then this ends up in a couple hours of playing. I started off by slowly diminishing the amount of hours i played before going to bed. Therefore, I am down to only playing for a max of one hour. Surprisingly eating healthier was not too hard. I just have to decrease the amount of coffee I drink a day. I do drink more water and eat at a more consistent rate. To finish off, working out harder than ever before has sorta been a struggle due to the lack of time. Since I don’t live in SLO and the only membership I have is from the school gym, it is hard for me to work out at a closer gym from my house. I try and get the free 7 day passes or go with a friend as a guest. When this doesn’t work, then I try to do a home work out.

I am very proud to say that I’ve accomplished some noticeable results. Even though, visually it i not so noticeable, I do feel like I have more energy throughout the day, and can focus better in class.

I highly encourage you guys to try this if you don’t do it already. It doesn’t seem like that big of a deal, but it definitely makes you feel and perform better.
