Intervention of Choice – Montana Tasker

I have noticed for a while now that I have an addiction to social media and picking up my phone when I’m bored. I do this out of habit, I spend hours on my phone scrolling through pointless social media posts and wondering who is viewing my posts. When I make up in the morning, I immediately check my phone for updates on my social media. When I’m bored in class, I check instagram, twitter, snapchat and even facebook. I’m even on social media when I’m waking through campus. This affects my daily life in many negative ways. For my intervention of choice, I’ve decided to delete all forms of social media on my phone. I’m hoping this will make me be more present in what’s going on in my life for the next week.
